Hmmmm, & there are those who think O is a punishment from God, personally,I leave politics out of prayer.

I pray for my country all the time. And that includes the political process.
There’s nothing wrong with praying for good things for people, so I pray that our American way of life to be preserved, if that is God’s will. The main thing that I had to learn with prayer is that sometimes God responds either with a “no/yes”, or “wait and see what my real plan is”.
