NPR just announced that there will be a group performing free lead testing on toys. Parents can bring their child’s toys in and have them tested on the spot. (I’m imagining a cafeteria type set-up with a line of parents and toys leading to an eight foot table with three scientific looking people who take the toys, look at them, stick them in their mouths, then hand them back to the parents saying, “Safe.” or “Not safe.”)
