Moran is making a good point. He said the question isn’t whether the arts will survive - they will. The issue is whether they will be accessible. Gov’t funding for art isn’t for art’s sake, its to make it for readily available to communities that otherwise would not get high quality art.

NEA truly does a poor job of that. Not much of it is getting to Lower Alabama.
