That was my wakeup scene as well. A doe was dozing in our backyard and wandered off about 20 minutes ago.

But that’s not the thing bugging me.

It’s that Trump went to Paris and then couldn’t get to a US military cemetery to honor our fallen, because it was raining.

It was wet? It was windy? That’s the excuse?

Trump and the GOP make such a show of being “for” the veterans, but when rubber meets the road, it’s all just empty platitudes and blustering BS. The reality is that they see the military as props, and they ignore them when it matters.

It matters on Veterans Day. It matters every day as the GOP and Trump are moving to cut the VA budget. It matters when Trump misallocates resources to fight a nonexistent military threat of people seeking asylum along the southern border.

The guy who “loves our military” hasn’t visited a war zone yet either. Not sure if he has even visited an overseas base anywhere but I doubt it. He seems scared of the troops.
