I’m using a bandana that’s folded into a rectangular shape and held around the ears with two rubber bands. It seals off the chin pretty well but it’s not great at the sides of the nose. I just bought four masks from a company that someone suggested up-thread.

I’ve been in Walgreen’s where most of the shoppers and employees are not wearing masks. I do feel safer in my bandana mask, and wearing a mask also sends a message that you should probably stay away from me.

I’ve got an old full-face mask that would be easy to mate to a HEPA filter. That would probably work, and it would definitely keep people away,
