All this shit makes me wish we had much shorter campaign seasons. A couple of months for the primaries, go straight into the conventions, a couple of debates immediately after that, then we vote. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am and it’s over. These 18 month campaign cycles suck.

If people can follow a half-season of Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead, they should be able to follow a campaign that’s about the same length.
