There’s an imaginary line somewhere in the 1800s or early 1900s. Before it things were good and after it things were bad. Or vice-versa. And that seems to switch from case to case as well…

I think color coding explains all here —- if the colonial power is white, and the colonists are black/brown, then anti-colonialism is clearly unacceptable.
