The GOP does not want to lean too heavily on sexual assault charges given their own candidate’s history, even though he has remained Teflonically immune from it so far.

You’ll notice that Trump himself isn’t making this an issue. He knows if he opens his fat mouth on it that we could get the conversation about his Cosby sized list of accusers. People are smart enough to know there’s a difference between Biden admittingly being a little too touchy feely and being a pig like Trump is. That’s not a narrative he’ll win.
