Why do we have to get to SIXTY?!? Whatever happened to the days when people didn’t filibuster shit unless it was actually stupid stuff? Isn’t the whole point of a bipartisan bill that it ISN’T going to get filibustered and will just land on the floor for a straight up vote? Fucking Republicans, man. They literally cannot conceive of a world in which they can’t threaten someone or something.
