That’s a good point, the Corporate veil exists exactly to shield the shareholders / owners from debts and liabilities incurred by the corporation. They can’t have it both ways, either the corporation exists as a separate entity chartered, licensed, and regulated by the state or it’s just a sham and should offer zero protection / insulation to its shareholders.

They want all the rights, but none of the responsibilities or legal restrictions, of individuals. They want to be able to rule their employees lives by their own religious beliefs, but they want to also be able to skip out on their employees pensions if shit hits the fan.
