Soldiers bitch about their work all the time. My husband is about to retire from the military, and if they had confined every person who said “fuck this shit, I’m leaving,” there wouldn’t be anybody left on post. I Just have no interest in joining the Issa brigade in full metal witch hunt mode.

You do understand that to actually have any idea of what happened, they are going to need to investigate the whole unit? If only to get a feel for the players involved, and everyone’s perspective?

This isn’t because they’re trying to be mean or do a witch hunt, it’s because it’s how investigations fucking work.
