many mistakes: no PFD, no dry/wetsuits w/very cold water, whitewater kayaks on open water with tides.

And here I am about to go paddleboarding in 55 degree water wearing nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. I suppose I could wear my wetsuit, but I’m too lazy to put that on, and I don’t expect to fall in.
