I strongly suspect that if Bernie had magically won the presidency, the situation would be exactly the same as now, the only difference being the political leaning of those involved. It would still be the blind leading the deaf, total disorganization compounding upon itself daily, and a rush to turn back a lot of progress of the last century with the promise of some nebulous “better” alternative being passed in the indeterminate future.
