It’s true that Grenell is an asshole, but the homophobic attacks against him have just been disgusting. He’s far from a saint, there were plenty of totally valid angles that could have been used to target him. Instead the entire focus was on the fact that he’s gay. I really hate to defend someone like him, but I have to so here. Why must I be made to do this?

I think the focus here, on this blog, was that he is a misogynist.
