Yes, a great deal of religion is taking the human need for emotional resolution to their (and their loved ones’) ultimate demise and trying to make sense of it. Crafty men long ago figured out how to make a buck at it.

Why is it wrong to make fun of Christianity when it teaches that those of us who refuse the love of their Lord and Saviour, one Jesus Christ, will be condemned to an eternity of hell? I have a feeling I know what your answer is, I’m just trying to understand how it works inside of their minds.
