I have been curious about that…

Why in the hell are so many Americans eager to sell other Americans down the proverbial river for going to another country and helping sick people, or being poor, or being a different color or whatever?? The sheer hatred for American doctors and nurses and Christian missionaries (!) in Africa utterly floored me.

We used to have some sort of common American identity, and we no longer seem to have one.

That does not bode well for our continued exsistance as a nation over the next century IMHO.

If we hate each other this much…why bother being a country in the first place?
