Why do you keep bring up some anarchist strawman? There are no Lew Rockwells here arguing with you and no one is saying that there should be no taxes and no spending.

I bring it up because my point is that I was trying to say that we should be arguing over numbers (what to tax, what to spend on) rather than ideas like if we should tax and spend at all. I’m not suggesting anyone here is an anarchist, but am I wrong when I say that if we don’t tax and spend at all we might as well not have a government?
