That’s very true; as little as maybe 15 years ago, the Generals would’ve taken over by now.

From what I know, a lot of that infrastructure you referred to has been quietly purged. The Ergenekon Trial has seen to that.

Hard to believe this all started over a park. But sometimes it doesn’t take much.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised to see the headlines of all this over a park but it seems there’s much more at work. I wish them all the luck in the world and I hope this is the start of a return to a secular Turkey.
