Because a kid, Tamir Rice, playing with a toy gun in an open carry state was murdered by cops. Because John Crawford was killed for handling a bb gun in an open carry state by cops.

Because open carry seems to favor white guys not getting killed for openly displaying firearms, whereas blacks are killed for even holding toy guns or bb guns.
