I will say this about LBJ, he knew how to talk to people. Consummate politician, he was. His days in Congress are legendary for bipartisanship and governance. He’s still an asshole for escalating the Vietnam War.

He was quite honestly the total opposite of Trump in many ways. I mean yeah an asshole for that and honestly other stuff I’ve read but he knew how to get stuff done as President. Trump? Ha-ha. Yeah about that.
