The biggest “crisis” in nuclear power generation is people’s overreaction to it.
The lesson I learned from the Japanese earthquake and Fukushima is that if there’s an earthquake, it’s much safer to live near a nuclear power plant than it is to live near the beach.

I don’t really want to get into a tug of war about nuclear power; I understand the need and desire for cheap energy — but I think downplaying the potential effects can be awfully dangerous.
