We had a training jet crash in my city several decades ago just missing an eight story old folks home. The pilot staying in the jet long enough to miss a subdivision and the retirement home, bringing it down on railway tracks. The pilot didn’t survive.

Had one hit a residential neighborhood a few years back, pilot stayed as long as he could, but the crash killed a mother and infant when it came down.
