Before I went off to college, one of the 4 stations we could receive (for our B&W tv) was the PBS station out of the university some miles away… and I watched it mostly for Dr. Who and Schoolhouse rock (for which I was a bit too old, but I liked it anyway - good music.) Oh, and they also showed reruns of Julia Child.
