I think some of them have skeletons in the closet, but more importantly, they all know that Trump will lie about anything. Lies that the media and Trumpers will lap up with a spoon. So, even if there are no skeletons, Trump has the power to ruin their careers with lies. Hell, all Trump wanted from Ukraine was an announcement not an actual investigation. I suspect that Lindsay learned on that golf course that he and his colleagues are well and truly fucked by a man with no scruples and no loyalty. While Lindsay and his buddies have no scruples either, they except Republicans to be loyal to Republicans. Now, they’ve got the tiger by the tail and can’t let go. And like Trump, they don’t care who they hurt to maintain their egos and hold onto power.
