It doesn’t appear the police were there. Once again this forces me to side with the wingnuts. I’m pretty sure it’s standard security common sense to have police at the point where the candidate exits the car. It’s when they are at their most vulnerable. She should have been cuffed at least temporarily after the first time she rushed the car and searched/questioned by police. Her repeated attempts and lack of police protection made this a very dangerous situation.
If police were on the scene there’s actually a decent chance she could have been shot. You just can’t behave like that around elected officials or candidates.
