Would I let someone blow my foot off rather than force me to vote for Romney? Well, that’s sort of the whole point of today, innit? I don’t know how far my nerve re: foot extends, but the right to vote freely is worth more than my foot.

Since nobody’s forcing anybody to vote a certain way and that’s not even on the horizon as a plausible possibility, I read the statement as one of metaphorical oppositional absolutism instead of reading it hyperliterally. I believe the clear implication was that there was no candidate even theoretically bad enough to support Obama against.
