I’ve said some nasty shit to people here a few times, and sometimes it got personal. But even I think your comments to Walter were over the top. You ridiculed his unfortunate life situation, which you wouldn’t have even known about except that he volunteered the information.

And, yeah, there’s a pecking order here. So what? There aren’t a million people here holding you down. More like a few hundred regular commenters, many of whom have known each other for nearly 10 years. And they communicate with one another daily. So if you’ve only been here a month and you start with really mean-spirited personal attacks, people will close ranks and you’ll be ostracized. Is that fair? Maybe not in some larger cosmic sense, but in the context of a blog’s unique logic, it’s perfectly reasonable.

And why are you lording your $11 million bank account over others? That’s just petty and irrelevant.

Well, when you put it that way - I can’t really argue with you. My attacks on Walter were a bit over the top and personal. But you have to understand that the guy comes at with this seething anger every single time I post here. That “fuck you” out of nowhere was NOT the first time he’s done that. And I have a hard time taking shit from someone over and over again.

As for me posting that account - I was being called a liar over and over and over again by bagua saying I “didn’t have even $25K in my account.” And I wanted to prove him wrong.

It didn’t bring me any pleasure to post that. I know exactly how something like that comes off. It was either that or have him relentlessly call me a liar, which I simply couldn’t stand for.
