(P.S. - I would put AGW on the same standing as plate tectonics in the scientific community - sure, you have some crackpots who argue against it for their own reasons, but it’s pretty well accepted that it is happening and the questions are more a matter of degree at this point.)

In any event the mechanism for AGW is basic, readily provable via a sixth grade science fair level experiment. Couple that with the fact that the geologic record never shows C02 levels changing at anything even remotely approaching current rates and you’ve ruled out everything but human activity as the cause.
