I completely agree with that. Still, those are awesome costumes.

I found Kip Thorne’s book to be relatively accessible working just with algebra (really no math required, because it is more concept based) so that might be a good one for him to look at if it continues to be an interest. (I was 13-14 when I did a correspondence college course based on it.)

Thank you! By the way, Hokusai’s “Great Wave” is one of my favorite images. Your work is amazing. There used to be an interesting BBC documentary about the image, life of Hokusai, and the hydrodynamics of the wave on youtube, but I can’t find it now.

Edited: I just looked at the link. I’m ordering Kip Thorne’s book tonight. The boy has read “the elegant universe” so this seems like a good step.
