All part of the package they wrapped him up in to sell him to the heathens. Then the wrapping and the package became so think and encrusted that it obscured the true transformative power of his message.

Shame, really. Because as regards his truly transformative message, it is irrelevant where he came from or who is mother or his great-great-granddaddy was.

The words of prophets like Isaiah are not just “myth” to Jews and Christians, and they were not simply myth to the Jews of the time either. God had indicated in what form the promised one would come.
