re: #113 oslogin
This lawyer is allegedly a member of the Labour party which was targeted by the terrorist. He said (I’m paraphrasing) that he had had his doubts, but that he felt that it was an important part of democracy that even this guy has a right to a defense. There is a Facebook campaign up in support of the lawyer; and the people on that facebook group all loath the terrorist, but all highly respect the lawyer for taking on this job, which much be one of the worst imaginable.
Especially if that lawyer, as a member of the Labor party, knew the families of any of those kids that died. Talk about a thankless task — defending the monster who killed the kids of people you know.
