Pardon me if I’m wrong, but it’s pretty damn ironic for him to say that considering the Catholic Church’s bans and spiteful rhetoric against LGBTs haven’t done anything to keep the pedophiles and predators out of their own organizations.

What does the RCC have to do with Robertson? Robertson’s a Baptist minister. Not defending him but he has no association with the RCC. What makes this is a ridiculous statement is this kind of stuff was still happening within the BSA while they hate the bans and spiteful rhetoric against GLBT people. Ironic isn’t really the word but to me it is telling that two very anti gay organizations have had much more problems with child molestation than any group that I know of involving homosexuals.
