Peggy Noonan is a turncoat. I agree appearances weigh heavy in the leftie decision making process. After all, the NYT had a front page story today about how O is already beginning to gray.

When you think about the broadcast media in particular, they have so much pressure on themselves re: their appearance (I just read a story about Rachel Maddow’s need to “glam up”). Really, it’s like they’re just filtering the rest of the world through their own experiences. We all do that, but they act as if they are above it somehow.
