This year, the story of Louisiana’s state budget is one of further cuts to health care, more gutting of universities and schools. Bobby Jindal just vetoed another budget because he felt it would break his no-tax-increases pledge to Americans for Tax Reform who in turn might campaign against him should he run for president.

Only a fool or a Republican would propose that Louisiana subsidize theme parks under these circumstances.
