Ya, raising taxes (they already pay taxes) on one specific group is akin to the government taking more of that groups money.

Extremist? I don’t see that, but OK.

A) Taxes are on income levels, not on groups.

B) Taxation is, yes, taking a percentage of income. That’s what it is.

C) What you said, though, was this:

“hey the rich have all the money… we should take it! That would be the solution… just reach into their pockets and take as much as we need”

A rise in the tax on the rich— would that be the equivalent of reaching into their pockets and taking as much as we need?
