Nuclear is a long-term solution. There are now smaller power plants that can somewhat safely be brought online in about 15 years, but we’re not going to get a return on investment for a long time to come. Solar and wind can be brought online quickly, and incrementally. Put up a dozen windmills a month and bring them online as they’re installed. Same thing with solar farms.

I don’t think we’ve built a nuclear plant in this country in 30 years.
