Yeah just gotta be patient. I really have developed a soft spot for the city. Still cannot believe the archdiocese had my great grandmother’s baptism and her parents wedding from 1877 and 1876. The priest I talked to told me a little about the history in the part of the city where they lived. Are either you, Art, or any other Cleveland lizards familiar with what’s called The Flats? Apparently it was originally a predominately Irish neighborhood but became more Eastern European by the turn of the 19th century.
