Gandhi and MLK were both killed by raging mofos. My mind is turning towards Malcolm.

I am not by nature a violent person; however, I do not make a fetish of nonviolence. As someone who was a perpetual bully magnet growing up, I have come to the recognition that there ARE occasions when violence IS the legitimate response to growing threats to vulnerable people.

Silence and merely bearing witness aids the oppressor.
False equivalencies aid the oppressor.
Negotiating away the rights of a vulnerable minority to buy a temporary peace aids the oppressor.

And the oppressor will be back to target still others.
