I was thinking that too but, $300 wont buy me much for what I have. I just got a Remington 700 SPS Tac, the .308 version. Ammo is like $25 for a box of 20. I still need to get a scope for it though. But I’m sure I’ll want to get that well before that IOU will ever turn into anything else.

I could put it toward the Sig P220 I want to get.

the 700 didn’t come with iron back up sights?……
