Duckworth got more votes than Kirk. And dems got more overall votes than the GOP. Kirk is counting days unless he does something to show moderation. Unfortunately, if anyone buys it he will be back being his asshole GOP self.

I totally expect when Kirk leaves office, he’ll do one of two things, he’ll either bash the party for what it is now that he doesn’t have to worry about re-election or he’ll go the route of another “moderate” Scott Brown and go full wingnut (Brown’s backing Herr Drumpf.).
