He’s been an honored speaker at the Dem convention. He incited a pogrom in Crown Heights. He has LOTS of influence, far more than Rand Paul.

Honored speaker does not mean taking over the party dude, and Rand Paul is part of a movement of parabouid, anti-science, anti-health, racist crazies. he’s not one guy as brimming with name recognition as Al Sharpton, but here’s the fact you seem to be doing everything in your power to ignore

Al Sharpton is basically at the top of his pyramid. Al Sharpton has influence, but it basically starts and stops with Al Sharpton.

The difference is, Rand Paul is just one cog in a big big machine of truly disgusting and crazy people in the GOP who are taking the whole thing over. Vicious, racist, paranoid, confederate-revisionist, dominionist, anti-health, anti-science, and divorced from reality. These people are changing textbooks in texas, they’re advocating the murder of gay people in africa, they’re lying outright that science is what it is not. They’re piles of dogshit in human form.
