Boo frickin’ hoo. Sweeney complains about the NJ budget, but decided to add hundreds of millions of dollars to a budget and didn’t have the means to pay for it. Yes, Christie vetoed the millionaires tax, but Christie ended up spending $850 million more on education than NJ did last year. So, how does Sweeney spin that - well, it’s less than the $1.1 billion he was proposing in spending, so Sweeney calls it a cut.

Sorry, but we play that game all too well - a spending increase is called a cut only because it’s a cut in proposed spending that is still more than the prior year. And everyone gets something for election year.
