One of my sisters-in-law was previously married to a vicious man who stalked her for a time. She obtained a restraining order, but thankfully the brother-in-law she married is also martial arts trained, although he has some physical difficulties. I know for the first few months of their marriage, she was absolutely paranoid about having an out route in case her ex came by.

I wish there were something more than a restraining order that could be done, because a restraining order is really just a piece of paper if someone isn’t willing to abide by it. :/
