And I’ll say this for Cheney; I really think that he felt every action he took was for the benefit of the US. I think he’s a patriot. I think he’s very mistaken about a wide range of things, from the appropriateness of torture to whether or not invading Iraq was a good idea, but I think that he had the best interests of the American people at heart.
