Even the religious bigots aren’t losing the freedom to deny marriages at their churches or religious centers. They’ve got protections that mean they can’t be forced or coerced into holding gay marriages that go against their religious beliefs, so even on that ground they’ve still got freedoms.

The DOMA case outcome doesn’t deny anyone their freedom. It isn’t disenfranchising. It shows that Congress passed a law that was unconstitutional (and the Courts have done that in the past, and will do so into the future). That’s all part of judicial review - a key component to the Court’s legal jurisprudence.
