I don’t count her time with Bill in the WH as a major plus. To me it’s a neutral point. Sure she gained experience in Presidential ways, but I disagreed with her proposals and advocacy. I call that a wash. The big qual is Sec State I agree. A term or two in the Senate sounds like journeyman years not mastered the art yet.

She’s fortunate not to be up against a long standing successful Governor or career Senator qualification wise, and that situation is pretty frequent. She would fail to defeat a Ted Kennedy I think RIP.
