I also agree and would like to add that clergy like Cardinal Martino serve the Church very poorly when they make such statements because they are so easily construed, by Catholics and non-Catholics alike, as being Church Doctrine- which they most certainly are not.

And it’s tiresome to be challenged by people over these statements like that that I do not agree with at all, not one bit, not one iota.

There was a thread somewhere recently where I actually agreed with somebody about something, but no matter how much I explained that, he did not seem to believe it, but kept posting comments asking me how I could think this or that, which were things I didn’t think at all!
