The point - poorly and inadequately expressed - is that many people hide their anti-Semitism behind apparently objective criticism of Israel. But Israel has never been in a normal situation.

I like you and I don’t want to pile n, but I have to agree with Obdicut here. I can say the same, “Many people hide their Islamophobia behind apparently objective criticism of of terrorists/radical Islamists.” The thing is, I have no way of proving their hidden intent. If I try to do so, then I come off looking hypersensitive and/or possibly end up alienating people who weren’t actually hiding any ill intent.
