I’m just wondering, what is the correct way to treat someone who was found innocent of a crime that in truth they committed since they can no longer do “penance” for the crime by serving jail time for it….

Obviously as satisfying as mob justice might sound we live in a nation of laws and so that can’t be the correct answer. Should we just have a universal shunning of that person?
