re: #123 Dark_Falcon

I wasn’t doing that, though I will also note that much of the SIEU is composed of private sector workers. As a result, Gov. Walker’s law on public sector unions does not threaten the SEIU’s existence.

Then it just makes your joke completely out of touch.

Michelle Malkin and the other RWNJs have an illusory victimhood. Nobody is doing anything to them. Meanwhile, Walter, and the GOP in general, is really attempting to destroy unions— unions which are part of why the US became a great country with a strong middle class. They are succeeding, as well, which is part of the reason our middle class is vanishing.

So, when you compare Malkin to the unions for the purposes of a lame joke, you are indeed being dishonest. The unions really are under attack, and really are losing that fight. Malkin is not under attack, and is doing fine for herself.

Moreover, this is something others have said before: right-wing humor often is making fun of those who are the victims, who are beaten down. Your ‘joke’ at the expense of unions, in the wake of what Walker is doing to them, is of that type. It’s kicking people when they’re down. It’s unseemly. You may not personally like unions, but you’d have to be a complete idiot— which you’re not— not to realize the many positive goods that unions achieved in this country.
